Tax Senior Associate
A Prestigious global accounting and consulting firm is seeking an individual to step in and take charge of devising the tax process to be assigned to client engagements including setting service team expectations and budget. The individual will be responsible for conducting a detailed preparation and review of tax returns. The applicant will be expected to display a working knowledge of corporate and FAS 109 to properly account for income tax. It is also important for the individual to grasp the financial implications, capacity of tax projects, and possess the ability to use this knowledge to aid in the growth of the practice. The individual will be utilized as a consultant regarding all tax related issues.
Qualifications: BS/BA degree, advanced certification, such as CPA, is a plus. Minimum of 3 years experience working in public accounting is required. Prior corporate and FAS 109 familiarity is recommended.
Compensation Package: 75-90K plus top benefits

Commercial Credit Analyst

Description:

New England based bank is seeking qualified commercial credit analysts at all levels. This opportunity is ideal for individuals aspiring to become commercial loan officers.

The position listed will provide a high level of analytical support to departments within Commercial Lending by preparing objective and comprehensive written financial analyses on complex commercial lending requests within specified time frames. Qualified candidates must also be prepared to use their understanding of credit policies and procedures to do things like assess the strengths and weakness of credit relationships or make risk rating recommendations.

Responsibilites:

Produce objective credit analyses including assignment of risk rating for complex new loans or renewals of existing facilities as requested by account officers or required by policy

Analyze financial statements, collateral, debt services, personal financial statements and personal cash flow

Prepare lease synopsis, incorporating pertinent appraisal information and summary of risks and mitigants as applicable and germane to the size and complexity of the transaction
Qualifications: Must have:
Minimum 3-5 years experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex financial information accurately

Skilled with spreadsheets, word processing, presentation, internet, industry specific applications, etc

Strong time management skills

High degree of understanding of all aspects of financial analyses within the commercial lending industry with expertise in commercial credit

Demonstrated expertise in: proper loan structuring, legal and documentation issues, industry consideration for specific borrower types, credit policy and procedures and their impact on transactions, underwriting requirements specific to both CREF and C&I loan requests
Compensation Package: $60-85,000, 401K, health/dental, excellent benefits

Qualifications: SENIOR VP LEVEL, must be currently or most previously employed by a bank.
Compensation Package: Approximately $125,000/year + bonus, normal bank entitlements

Compliance Manager
A prestigious bank is seeking a Compliance Manager to assist and oversee the compliance program that heads the subsidiary companies of this established operation. The Compliance Manager will specialize in loan and deposit disclosure requirements and similar services regarding compliance. Selected candidate will report to the Chief Compliance Officer and be expected to manage compliance activities within their field as well as assist the Chief Compliance Officer in the overall compliance program for all segments of the bank.

Responsibilities:
* An up to date in depth understanding of state and federal laws and regulations applicable to designated area of specialty.
* Educate employees of current requirements that affect their standing. * Create and administer supplemental training programs. * Aid business line management in correcting and accurately resolving any expectations. present in regulatory examinations, management self monitoring reports or independent audits * Participate in federal regulatory compliance examinations. * Access the compliance archives to ensure current regulatory information within given area of specialty. * Offer text explaining regulatory requirements and alterations, including tools to aid and monitor compliance risk where necessary. * Create, publicize and assess management monitoring reports for business units across the company * Examples of specialty laws and regulations below:

Qualifications:

* Thorough understanding of consumer and residential lending regulations.
